Six more Self-Care Science Tips

  1. Be the parent you needed. Your inner child needs you to unconditionally love him/her.

  2. Forgive. Forgive yourself, your judge, your mistakes…just forgive.

  3. Expect the unexpected. “Life is what happens while you’re making plans,” John Lennon. Flexibility = Sanity.

  4. Play and have fun! Nurture your inner child and quit taking life so damned serious! Be whimsical, silly, and frolic!

  5. Practice presence. Breathe. Take life moment by moment. Be conscious of the space you are holding for yourself. Notice perceptions and how you internalize.
  6. Kick perfection’s ASS! Recover from your “J,” Myers Briggs compadres! Perfection is an ugly illusion thinly veiling the need for control. Control is the main ingredient in the recipe for misery. Let go. Accept you as you are, where you are, and how you are.
